From safe containment to proper treatment, the Complete Needle Collection & Disposal System™ provides the self-injector with a solution.
Safe containment for needles and syringes is important for all individuals who self-inject medications.
Place the attached lid onto the container opening after each use and store the container in a safe place.
A USPS-authorized return label with environmentally-friendly treatment is available for purchase for $24.50.
Before self-injecting the medication, identify the location of the sharps container. Place it as close as possible to where it will be used to allow for immediate disposal of the needle or syringe. When placing the syringe or needle into the opening of the container, keep hands behind the sharp tip. Never place hands or fingers into the sharps container.
The optional disposal feature of Complete Needle is one that Sharps designed for residential self-injectors in order to offer a mailback program at a reduced cost. The price of the label includes the authorized transportation, processing, and treatment. Our patented Waste Conversion Process is expensive to manage but offers residents an environmentally-friendly disposal method to prevent further waste from entering landfills.
Alternatively, residents can check within their community for special drop boxes, collection points, and household hazardous waste sites for other options for proper disposal.
If you choose the optional return with treatment, a special USPS-authorized label can be purchased from the Sharps Compliance store. The fee of $24.50 for the label includes special USPS handling of biohazardous materials, processing, and proper, environmentally-friendly treatment.
